It’s an Instagram sensation that’s so aesthetically pleasing…but is it worth it? I made seven meals to find out.
OK, I will confess a few things to you first. A, I used to think I was the worst cook ever, simply because I chose to be impatient! B: I secretly wondered if high quality cookware could turn me into a high quality home chef. I saw and drooled over the Always Pan for a long time, so I was thrilled when I got my hands on one!
Was it the same pan I’d seen each night in my dreams? I spent time making seven dinners to test it out and relay my thoughts to you!
The Breakdown
Specs: The Always Pan is 10 inches, so fairly large. It features a non stick ceramic coating, and the pan itself is a delightfully lightweight 3 lbs. Additionally, you’ll receive a beechwood spatula that is compatible with the integrated spoon rest on the pan, and a custom steamer basket that doubles as a colander. The price is $145, and there are currently eight colors available. Message me if you would like a refer a friend code, it will help you save a bit of cash. 🙂
Here’s What I Made!
In no way did I innovate any of these recipes! I’m working on the basics of cooking well for now, and I’ll venture into the “little of this, little of that” lifestyle in time! Food blogs and websites were strategically perused by me for hours, mainly because I wanted to make sure the recipes were easy to understand. I highly recommend ALL of these, and I will share more as I make more. Click on each link to get the step by step instructions.

So…Did The Always Pan Make Cooking Easier?
The answer is YES. Firstly, the heat distribution on this pan is so even, and it worked wonderfully on my induction oven. Secondly, the modular lid helped me to trap or release steam at will, which came in handy for making the potstickers. Cleanup each night took legit two seconds. Nothing wants to stick to this pan. On a nostalgic note, the best part is seeing the way my family gathers around the Always Pan. It not only looks gorgeous on the table, it also helps to spark good cooking conversations every time.
A few good things to know about the Always Pan:
- The nonstick is legit: nothing sticks, ever.
- It’s versatile: deep enough for soup, wide enough to simmer sauce and the steamer basket is perfect for veggies.
- The spoon rest is genius. My countertops never have gunk on them anymore.
A few tips and things to consider before purchasing:
- Never use metal utensils in this, it’ll destroy the nonstick coating!
- The front handle will get HOT, remember to use grips or oven mitts whenever you touch it.
- The Always Pan is not oven safe, so never try putting it in there! If you frequent the stovetop to oven lifestyle, opt for the Cast Iron Always Pan instead!
The Verdict
This will undoubtedly be the most beautiful piece of cookware in your collection. Because of the ability to braise, steam, stew, simmer and more, you’ll also find that the versatility is well worth the investment. I do feel that the high quality of my Always Pan has upped the quality of my dinner game, and that makes me and my family so happy. To sum things up, this is the pan of your dreams that works in real life too. Do you have and love the cookware from Our Place?
