The Best Easy X Healthy Green Juice Recipe You’ll Ever Love…

There’s nothing like a delicious, sweet and healthy green juice recipe!

Playing around in the kitchen with juice recipes is a mainstay in my morning routine. The main reason that I adore juicing is the effect it has on my health! The amount of nutrients you get directly to the blood stream is incredible, and your skin soaks them right up. Leafy greens like the ones in this recipe are a treasure trove of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. Drinking greens regularly can reduce your risk of cancer and improve overall eye health!

This juice can benefit your overall skin health exponentially!

With time your skin will become smoother, less prone to acne and have minimal wrinkles! Many people seem to think green juice doesn’t taste good, but I can guarantee that this is one you’ll love to drink. With health benefits like these plus more, you owe it to yourself to start chopping up those vegetables and fruits ASAP!

Kale, aka vitamin and mineral superstar…

Ready To Try Juicing?

Here’s what I think you should do:  Bust out your juicer that you bought after watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, dust it off and make this juice! This recipe combines the sweet and tart flavors of fruit with the leafy green goodness of multiple vegetables. It really utilizes the best of both worlds! The apples and pineapple contain collagen and bromelain respectively, and the lemons contain powerful amounts of vitamin C. The common denominator is a healthy dose of what your body needs plus a glowing and fresh complexion in due course! Did I mention that it tastes amazing?

I will list the ingredients below that you’re going to need.

I tend to make more juice, because I love to share with family and friends! You can feel free to slice the ingredients in half if you are juicing for one, or save half for the next day. I personally like my juices to be as fresh as possible, so any juice hanging around after two days gets tossed. If you’re worried about the sugar content in this, make sure you only drink 8 ounces and watch the other sugar you take in for the rest of the day!  I like to drink this first thing in the morning to break my overnight fast, that way my body absorbs all the nutrients! Without further ado, let’s talk about how to make this delicious juice!

What You’ll Need:

The greens!
The fruits!
  • One bunch parsley
  • One large cucumber
  • One head of kale
  • One bunch collard greens
  • One Pineapple ( Get a pineapple corer, it saves a lot of time and cleanup!)
  • 4 to 6 Pink Lady apples
  • 3 lemons, rinds removed

How to Make It!

  • Run all ingredients through your juicer. I like to start with the greens and then do the fruit last to make sure everything washes through evenly.
  • Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher. Think of orange juice when you do this step. The more you strain, the smoother the taste.
  • Pour into a mason jar and enjoy immediately. If you prefer it cold, put it into the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes.

I hope you love and enjoy this recipe as much as I do! Let me know what your favorite green juices are in the comments. Happy juicing!
